"The Forbidden Bean Paste" is the 21st chapter of Ran and the Gray World, a manga written and illustrated by Aki Irie.
Overview[]
Tamao continues to teach Ran, firstly by marking where the magic flows in her body, then describing what magic is, teaching her how to control her powers. After Ran creates a bunch of balloons from forming a floating cloud of red bean mochi cotton candy, she takes her blindfold off and realizes she created flowers from her powers.
Excited, Ran floats up and spins about, cheering herself up until she loses control, so Nio steps in to bring all the flying tuna back into the pond. She ends up killing most of the giant tuna from the pond and giving them out to the Ippongi's, Hibi's (which Makoto accepts), and Outarou (which Gogo accepts). They give the rest of the tuna to the Kurobane Corps.
Ran eats dinner with red swollen eyes, promising to herself and everyone that she'll become a great sorceress one day.
